Ms Chavonne van Schalkwyk

When asked to describe herself this is what she had to say; "I'm a Visionary, Mentor, Entrepreneur and Passionate about empowering and uplifting the youth".

Ms Chavonne Van Schalkwyk a recovered drug addict, is the founder and facilitator of The Closure Room, an NPO working with individuals and families facing substance abuse challenges, which provides free group and individual counselling sessions to individuals wanting to part ways with drugs.

Chavonne is also currently working with a college to provide young unemployed people living in the greater Eersterivier area, the opportunity to study free (inbox us for more details).

Van Schalkwyk fills the position of Secretary at #TDFF and is the programme coordinator for the DF Young Leaders programme.
