The Dewandré Fritz Foundation (TDFF) traces back to 2019 when our founder and two friends established The Difference. The primary goal of The Difference was to offer mentorship programs to at-risk learners in Grades 7 and 8 at Melton Primary and Kleinvlei Secondary High Schools.
Although The Difference eventually concluded its operations, our founder continued the mentorship initiative by collaborating with The Closure Room, a local non-profit organisation in the Greater Blue Downs area. This partnership expanded our reach and allowed us to serve many more individuals. These early collaborations and experiences have shaped TDFF into the organisation we are today. We invite you to connect with us if you wish to be part of our mission.
Our primary aim is to focus on the development and upliftment of our communities while working to end extreme poverty and hunger. TDFF also features a mental health wing dedicated to raising awareness and working to prevent suicide.
Our vision for TDFF is a future where all individuals and communities have equal opportunities for success, where collective efforts lead to thriving communities, and where compassion and support are extended to those in need. We aspire to eradicate poverty and illiteracy, creating a more equitable and hopeful world for all.
